Why the Future Is Fracturing

Hi! How’s everyone? Today I want to discuss the future of the economy. By way of a kind of funny story, which is about “The Hermes Game.”

Do you know what that is? It was my lovely wife who alerted me to it not so long ago, poking me with her elbow, and handing me her phone. “Check…check this out,” she said, gleefully horrified. There I discovered what she had, and the world was soon about to: a Reddit forum called “The Hermes Game.” What’s that about?

Hermes is a venerable French brand, a leather goods-maker, and much more, these days. It’s handbags rocketed to stardom, and they’ve outlasted plenty of human stars. The Birkin, the Kelly, etcetera, if you don’t know, these are names of iconic bags. The funny thing is…the game.
